10 Months

Rowan is officially 10 Months old this week! Where has all the time gone?

Here are some cool facts about Rowan at 10 Months Old:

1. He is a very curious boy.

2. He "scootches" instead of cawling and man can he move fast.

3. He likes to roar like a lion.

4. His favorite foods are chicken...mixed with avacado or sweet potato, mango, bananas, pears, yogurt, and puffs-still prefers pureed foods spoon fed to him.

5. He loves bathtime and now likes to stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down in the bath.

6. He loves music and bobs up and down when it comes on.

7. When we sing the alphabet now he tries to sing with us.

8. He loves putting objects inside of other objects.

9. He loves books.

10. He tries to give Ramsey his food when he's eating (and Ramsey is now trained to come to Rowan's side at mealtimes....he knows he'll get treat from Rowan).

Adventures with Nonna

Thank you to Nonna for coming to visit from Chicago! Rowan had so much fun spending time with you. We have been busy going to the park, but now that it's 110 degrees we may not be going too much for a while.

Rowan and Flip

Hi Everyone...Rowan got a kick out of "Flip", my friend Vicki's dog who was here with us for 10 dsy while she was in Jamiaca. You'll get a real kick out of this!

Easter Fun

Thank you to Kathy and Don for having us all over for Easter-the food was delicious as always! Rowan got to meet Karolina (his 2nd cousin) for the first time. She is SO CUTE! It was great to see Mark and Amy again-you are adjusting to parenting gracefully! The Grandma's and Grandpa's were in heaven with thier little grandbabies there to play with!!

So Close to Crawling

Rowan is on the verge of crawling. Anyday I know he is going to make the move. He is already rolling and squirming all over the place! As you can see in the pictures, he is in position to crawl, just hasn't figured out how to make the movements yet. Oh my, how life is about to change for us!!!

As strange as this may sound, he has also found his thumbs recently. He is always touching his thumbs to things and here you can see he is giving a "thumbs up!" I am certain this is his continuing on in yet another milestone to be reached-the pincer grab----this is touching your pointer finger to your thumb and picking things up with those 2 fingers.

Rowan's been busy...

Rowan has been so busy latley....

Friday we went to babytime at the library. We all sat around a large parachute laid out on the ground and sang songs, read books, and played. Rowan's favorite thing was when the leader blew bubbles, he was in awe!

You will see him here in his new swing....that he actually fits in and there is no fear of it tipping over! He seems to be outgrowing the swing thing all together and just is not that interested in spending too much time in it. It is good for me though, to have a safe place to put him and get a few things done.

We had a great time with Rowans girlfriends Audrey and izzie at Joe's Farm Grill on Sunday! It was so great to see the Brown Fam!
