January and February 2010

Wow, it has been forever (since Christmas) since my last blog post. Rowan has been keeping me busy and we have had a lot of fun the last couple months. We have been to the zoo, Phoenix Childrens Museum, parks and more parks, and spending lots of time with Nonna, who moved here at the beginning of January. Above you will see Rowan making Grandpa's secret bread recipe. I am cherishing this time I am spending with Rowan, as we will have baby girl joining us in about 6 weeks.

Rowan's vocabulary is exploding right now! Here is just a bit of what he says:
book, night moon, choo choo, Calliou, Elmo, up, down, hi, hello, bye bye, cup, fork, spoon, bowl, milk, "wa" for water, Reeroo for Ramsey Roo, Ma ma, Da da, work, car, truck, cycle, plane, keys, lock, go, do, ouwie, light, food, eat, couch, door, no, "kype" for Skype, Nanna and poppa, Gamma and Gampa, walk, diaper, e e ooo for monkey, cow, moo, cat, dog, meow, duck, quack, "bock" for box, puter for computer, phone, obey, church, bible, amen, pay for pray, ba for bath, slide, shoe, boot, sock, teeth, foot, hair, nose, ear, eye, toe, apple, waffle, gurt for yogurt, gape for grape, cheese, nana for banana, button, cookie, cracker.

On top of this, he seems to understand just about all that we say to him! I am amazed at how much of a big boy he is now.
